This is a traditional Latin American dish consisting of a Maisteiggemisch, usually containing a sweet or savory filling is then cooked and wrapped in corn leaves. Tamales are the way, not only at Christmas but all year through a widely popular dish. Meanwhile, the turkey is also – according to the American model – for many families at the Christmas table.
